I have to ask- what is your story? I was looking at your Food Story LJ page and it seems like you have done a lot of traveling? Your life seems so interesting! Are you originally from Russia? Are you a professional cook? If you think this is too personal you don't have to answer. I just like hearing people's life stories if they seem interesting. :o)

Oh, that's no problem. It feels very nice to get such a question :-). Yes, I'm from Russia. I also lived in France and Singapore for some time. I mostly traveled around mainland Europe and South-East Asia, but I haven't yet been to the US and UK which I really want to do :).
I used to be a confectioner several years ago. I also taught in one of the Moscow cooking schools even earlier. Now I don't cook professionally, it's for pleasure. But I hope to go back to this in the future. Cooking seems to be the best thing I could do :-)
