Pupcakes :)

My dog Milly's 2nd birthday was yesterday, and I made these cupcakes for the celebration. I've had this recipe saved for a long time, but this was my first time using it. I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures, but they did end up looking more like a muffin than a cupcake :) The dogs didn't really care what they looked like though!

It's like you read my mind. I was just thinking about trying to find some canine friendly cake recipes. Scully just turned 6 months old and gets spayed on the 25th and I want to make her something special since I feel awful that she's going to be cooped up (and in pain ):) with me until the sutures come out.

My dog is a coonhound and she eats anything and everything, so I don't have any experience in working with gluten-free materials. But if you can use soy flour in any other recipe as a substitute then I'm sure it would work in this one too. Not positive though.

Thank you for this! It's my baby's 2nd birthday too in 2 weeks (he's a yellow Lab), and I was looking for a different cake to the one I baked last year. I'll give these a go :D

My husband thought I was crazy, but I put candles on top of hers and had her "make a wish" ;-) You might want to try searching for some sort of frosting idea, because they would look a lot prettier with some decoration
