I make these every year. Super easy and so good! A friend of mine tops some of her's with red and green M&M's for the nut free crowd.

I believe that M&M's are not considered "safe" for people with nut-allergies because they are made on shared equipment with nut products. I could be mistaken, however.

I do the same, but with the peanut butter M&M's. Not for those with an allergen, but for people like me who don't care for nuts. :)

These are some of the greatest quick neighbor/friends/coworker gifts ever invented. Placed in a pretty tin with some festive coloured parchment paper, perfect quick gift!

You should try this on the square pretzels, the pretzel to candy ratio is much better.
