CHAPTER 4 - THE SL*TTY B*TCH
"What are YOU doing in here?" a familiar, snotty voice said.
Kazu looked up and realized it was the last person she wanted to come in and save her.
It was none other than Erika Toda. The whore/bitch/stuck up nose bag of her grade.
And kazu not just saying that because she hate the girl.
"Well?" Erika went on. With her hands placed on her narrow hips.
"N-N-Nothing." kazu stammered. Kazu felt like a total idiot.
"I thought this place was only for people who had a life." erika said.
"I was just leaving," kazu said and slipped behind her and whoever she was about to do,. Jin was walking behind kazu.
"Who was that bitch?" Jin said looking back.
"Erika Toda. The most popular girl in our grade, but she still manages to be a total slut." kazu said with closed eyes.
All the popular girls were kind of slutty. It seamed like kazu was only 'somebody' who was a virgin in her school. So that basically meant She was NO ONE!
"She's ugly. She has a pig nose and seriously needs to stay out of the tanning bed." Jin said.
This made kazu laugh, and feel good. He basically said kazu was prettier than she was, which was a total shock.
"Thanks." kazu replied. She looked at her watch and realized it was 2:00.
"Well we have and hour to kill, what do want to do?" She asked Jin.
They walked the halls and talked. She was surprised to see that she still had stuff to talk about, and that Jin cooperating.
"I've heard some stories about you." kazu said, bringing up his past again, hoping he wouldnt mind.
"Oh yeah, what have you heard?" Jin asked. Looking interested.
"Just that you were in osaka and you and your mom had to move here for...reasons" kazu said as she looked up and noticed Jin was still listening. "That you were sent there for stealing, trespassing, and breaking and entering."
"Really? Well only part of that is true." Jin said.
"What part?" Kazu asked.
"Well I was in there, but only for stealing. None of that trespassing, breaking and entering stuff is true. I was only 'behind the bars' for a little while."
"What did you steal?" kazu asked. He looked down and sighed.
"A couple CDs, Lighters, Cloths, a bunch of crap..." Jin said, emotionless.
"Why did you steal?" kazu asked. She really wanted to know why someone would break the law and steal, when they could buy it.
"Look, it's not like I did it for fun or whatever. We had no money, and we were struggling. And I decided to look out for myself. Instead of my mom having to do it." He said with his head still down.
"It's her job to look after you." kazu said. "She IS your mother" she went on,
"She had to much to do. She was working 12 hours day. She could hardly pay enough to keep me in school let alone feed me."
"That's not all I heard." kazu said.
"Wow I seem to be more popular than you, and it's only my first day..." he joked. Kazu gave him a dirty look but he just laughed. "I was joking, have a where's your sense of humor?" he asked, shaking his head. "So what did you hear?"
"That you got kicked out of your school and threatened to burn it down." kazu said staring at the floor. She decided not to mention the running away part.
"Yeah. I did get kicked out of my old school. But I NEVER threatened to burn it down. That was just a rumor." He assured.
"Well you guys seem to be doing OK now." kazu said happily.
"Well it turns out that my mom has this aunt who had a fortune or whatever, and left some to her." Jin said with smile. "We used it to build our house, and she said she left some to me, but only for college. Thank God she did, I have no idea where we would be now if she hadn't."
"Thats cool. So are you happy now?" kazu asked. Jin came closer to her and she backed up against the wall. Jin was standing in front her leaning on his hand which was holding himself up. Kazu looked into his eyes.
"Too early to tell." He said and backed away slowly. Kazu's eyes were still fixated on where he is. "See you tomorrow." Jin said walking away. Kazu shook her head to get out her trance.
"Aren't you riding the bus?" kazu asked. Still in wonderment.
"No I have a ride." Jin turned around, waved, and winked.
"Waah~...he winked at me!" Kazu thought.
