[Romano had watched the performance from the beginning. At first he didn't think it would have been worth his time, but after seeing the show in its entirety, he could admit that what he had just seen was amazing.]

[But what had impressed him most, besides the fireworks and the MAGIC and the awesomeness of it all was Kaito. As a performer he captured Romano's complete attention and held it longer than ten seconds.]

[Wellp, Heather said she was going to be there, and she wasn't lying! Squeezing her way into the likely-impressive crowd he'd undoubtedly attracted, she was able to catch most of the show. Except for one part where some lady wearing a really big retarded-looking hat stood in front of her. That was lame. But she solved the problem by clambering up onto the raised base of a nearby streetlamp so that she could at least see over most of the crowds' heads.]

[AND IT WAS AWESOME. Everybody loves fireworks. Heather was no exception.]

[Heather had been somewhat stranded on that platform while the crowd milled-- it was sort of hard to hop down when no matter where you got off, you'd be landing on someone's small child or something. But eventually she was able to get down-- and that was around the time she caught Kaito's distinctive attention-grabbing cry over the general hubbub.]

[She waved back at him before starting to squeeze her way towards him in the crowd. >8( GET OUT OF MY WAY RANDOM BUSINESSMAN WHO TEXTING THE WHOLE TIME. YES, HEATHER SAW THAT. YOU ARE A BAD AUDIENCE MEMBER.]

[Finally, she made it close enough to talk, gasping exaggeratedly for air.]
