I. AM. DISGUSTED.What bullshit is this? Who kills a fellow human being, let alone do it in such a painful and horrific way? Were those people really so BLINDED by hatred that they failed to see that, despite Shelley's differences, she was human too

I'm always... disgusted to hear about human beings behaving like that. I think the problems lay deeper than tolerance of a sexual orientation or LGBT people. Those who did it? They're the ones that would burn people alive for for having a different religion if they were born few centuries earlier. I honestly cannot understand it. What is our civilization worth if we are capable of such a hatred?

See, but my rant wasn't just about the LGBT community... I was identifying hate crimes in general. I acknowledged that such hate goes back to the beginning... but enough rambling.

I just... fail to understand it... then again, I fail to understand a lot of things. Like domestic and child abuse. But that is a rant for another day. :/
