Phone fail...
So, I spent over 3 hours in the past two days dealing with yet another problem with Cincinnati Bell, the horrible phone company through which my mom has the home phone, internet, and wireless service through. So apparently my eyebrows are an inch below my hairline...
Uh-huh, got a haircut, like I'd planned. Unlike I had planned however, it is extremely short in the front, which was not what I told the hair stylist to do. I told her that I wanted it 2-3" past my eyebrows when dry, and we'd discussed how my hair was wavy so you have to compensate for that by adding about an inch and a half when it's wet. Military advertising WTF.
I saw Avatar today, and before I go into a little tirade about military advertising, I'd like to say first and foremost that the movie itself was incredible, just beautifully done. The CGI of course was gorgeous, but the story and characters were also top-notch. I've not had that much fun with an action/adventure movie in years. We saw the 3D ( Read more... ) -
Christmas re-cap and some reflection...
