Ah, Elseworlds. How I love thy cracky goodness.

I love this. It's certainly a much better vision of a good Lex than the horrible curly bearded one from...um, I forget which particular universe that the JLA are evil in. Alexander Luthor's dad anyway.

And telepath Lex? All types of hot. Telepaths are one of my not-so-secret kinks :)

And I love that he kept Lionel under his control all that time, even if it was 'evil' in the strictest sense of the word.

Oh god, yeah, bearded Lex was awful, both the AU and the Cloned-myself-a-new-body version and Alex Luthor had weird hair, too *shudders*

Telepathy is one of the scariest superpowers ever, especially if it can be used to manipulate people - which makes it awesome. I'm not to sure on my Professor X backstory, but I think Charles Xavier had issues with his rich stepdad, too, and used his powers on him. (Uh, I'm not sure it came through that this was Lex as Professor X and Clark as Magneto!)

My bf and I call the Australian son/clone Lex 'Wee-Irish-Leprechaun-Lex'. I keep expecting him to come out with 'Where's me Lucky Charms?' or something. Quite how he managed to bed Suoergirl looking like that I'll never know.

Telepathy is one of the scariest superpowers ever, especially if it can be used to manipulate people - which makes it awesome.

My main character from my novel (or rather the novel which largely exists in potentia in my head) is a telepath. I've found the hardest thing with writing for him is putting blocks on his powers as telepaths are indeed scary and their powers are potentially limitless if they're strong enough. That's why I love them so much. That, and the angst.

Lex and Supergirl... was potentially the slashiest thing ever. I mean, there he is, claims to hate Superman for being an alien and a vigilante and stuff, and then he dates *Supergirl*

I'm primarily a movie-verse Marvel-fan, too. I've read a number of X-books, but Charles and Erik are the characters that really interest me.

Lovely, just lovely.

Would that they let Charles Xavier break Magneto out of prison, then let them run off an rule the world together - although for major release movie X-men does paint the Prof. X/Magneto relationship at least a little. But at some point Lex would totally break Clark out of prison. And Clark would never kill Lex.

This just made me smile so much!

I liked the X movies (1 and 2) very much (and the Charles/Erik interaction of 3 as well), but, yeah, I guess a lot of people wanted Charles to put an end to the prison thing.

Clark not killing Lex is one of the constants of any Superman verse :D

This was excellent! I love the meshing of the two worlds and the final bit of hope for them.

Glad you liked it! It's sort of a depressing story, but the ending is definitely a happy - if evil - one.

I grinned like a maniac writing this - it started out as complete crack, but then the two verses matched surprisingly well.
