Housecleaning sucks

I have spent the day cleaning the house when I had planned to lie in bed. But I was so aware of four weeks worth of dog hair drifts on the carpet, gritty mud in the hall and the washing malingering in the washbasket that I had to get up at 9am and start work cleaning up my pit. haha, that's funny! I just don't think that Dave would ever feel at all guilty about it (I have to try REALLY hard to make him feel guilty about housework), he just doesn't see the dirt, and even if I point it out to him, he then doesn't see the problem....

Anyway, I just found your daughter's "Pet Dalek" film on your journal and I thought it was brilliantly funny, especially her cuddled up to go to sleep dalek in arms looking so contented (shrubbly, not the dalek - can daleks actually ever be contented?)
