France got Gakuen Babysitters?!! I'm so jealous. But that's one of the easier series for me to read in Japanese, because there's so much vocabulary that's at tiny-child level :) I love the series. The artist draws the most adorable tiny children... which I think she started with Me & My Brothers (which I also love. we've probably talked about this before). Gakuen Babysitters is comparable to Baby & Me as story goes: focusing on an older and younger brother and their friends and schoolmates and family. There's not much romance at all, unlike Me & My Brothers (and while I do like that series with the romance, I sometimes wonder what it might've been like without. but that's what Tadaima no Uta is for

heh, I know you're following that series in japanese :) I'm curious about cute babies. Maybe I check it out. Are there cute babies in "Me and My brothers"? I can check that out first.
I'm totally happy with "Ore Monogatari." Do you know that "millennium Snow" is ending in Japan? So it'll be a short series. Maybe Viz will license it? It seems that the tumbler poster hinted about it, that anyone can license from Kodansha. What is the likelihood that Yen will license Chihayafuru? I suspect that you'll letter one of the new series from Yen, right?

The adorable tiny children in Me & My Brothers are mostly bonus pages at the end, or in-story flashbacks, that focus on the time when the main character (Sakura, the girl in my icon) was little and first lived with her brothers (before her mum and their dad passed away and the kids were all separated). They're unspeakably cute :) Gakuen Babysitters is like all those bits expanded into their own series

Ah, that was a rhetorical question. I didn't mean to ask you specifically. I remember reading kodansha tumbler that the chance is very low for them since the series is 20+ and ongoing, but she mentioned that other publishers could license kodansha books, so ... Anyway, there are many good and interesting series.

I have Stellar Six ending in tankobon. Maybe I'll check out Tonari no Megane-kun since it's only 2 volumes.

Back to Gakuen babysitters, do they speak in kids language similar to Chi's sweet home, and lots of katakana?
