Last night I had my coming-out ball at my house! It was nicely well-attended, and it was great to see people from all the various social groups I have all talking to each other and meeting each other and stuff. I was kind of bouncing and flitting around between groups the whole night, so I didn't get to have too many really deep conversations,

It was a lovely party, and it's true, I think my mental mapping of "Naomi" to the memory of you in your second amazing dress of the evening is particularly strong, so it worked for me at least :)

The second dress was amazing on you. And you're right, though I didn't realize it until you wrote it -- the visual/experience/whatever memory does make it a little easier for me to remap everything (I have a *lot* of trouble with that).

That sounds amazing! I'm glad the ball went so well. I wish I could have been there. Next time please shoot me an email and I couldve seen if I could travel up to Boston. I'd love to see you again sometime. I'm also glad coming out to your co-workers went well

I'm sorry I didn't poke you more! I posted the invite to LJ, but that was like a month ago, I should have posted an "it's coming!" warning.
