See, there's this big thing in my life, and I've been feeling kind of unprepared to share it with everyone in the world quite yet. Without posting about it, I've been feeling weird about posting about other things going on in my life.

I'm currently transitioning, from ( Read more... )

It's funny, I was just thinking the other day that I didn't know what name to use to describe you to a friend (I knew that you'd been using "ntn" for written communication but couldn't figure out how to pronounce that as anything other than your current legal name). Thanks for the clarification, and good luck!

"n.t.n." I am keeping as my first three initials.

Thanks for the well-wishes!

There is someone in my warcraft guild named 'Ntan', every time I see him, it makes me think of you.

A-ha! I get the same thing with "nck" being my initials :) (well, I guess I'm alone there now)

Best wishes and best of luck!

*hugs* Congrats! It's great that you're doing well and moving things forward - I have been dragging my feet for a while now and need to get moving.

I wish there were some English gender-neutral pronouns that I didn't hate.

I'm completely with you on the gender-neutral pronouns. I wish, wish, wish that there were better options. Or that I would suddenly think of a better alternative!

A friend of mine was referred to as "they/them" for years, until he fully transitioned to male. It was surprisingly difficult/strange to have to remember to refer to a single person by a singular pronoun. XD
(he was also frequently referred to by no pronoun at all, giving rise to a catchphrase I still occasionally use when someone's pronouns are in question: "The pronoun of [name] is [name]."

If I find any decent pronouns, I'll let you know.

Applying your catchphrase as a selector, it works better for 'Mym' than for 'Kate'.
