Busy you! But good news is that you found a replacement car so fast!

I've achieved nothing this week. Still haven't written anything, which makes that only one day out of the last twelve that I have, but know I'll feel awful if I don't submit something for each challenge this week.

You'll get there! Just take a deep breath, relax, and remember a drabble is all you really need.

I had another manic day because I had to tax my car, but couldn't use it to get to the post office because it wasn't taxed... *rolls eyes* At least there was a craft fair in the square and the Raptor Rescue centre was there with some of their owls and hawks =)

Both Nissan Micras, the one I have now is just a bit newer and silver, my old one is blue. Micras are economical and great to drive, plus they fit in my garage a lot better than bigger cars! I can actually get out of the car once it's in the garage!

I use to practise driving on my brothers old Mazda. I think cars that are quite big are harder to navigate. Specifically if you need to park properly.

I'm 5 feet tall and learned to drive back in the 80s in a massive Ford Cortina. Power steering didn't exist back then, but I could still do a three point turn in my narrow street without touching he curb on either side. It's what you're used to. My first car was quite big, but my cars have been gradually getting smaller, partly because our big garage collapsed and mum got a smaller one and partly because smaller cars are cheaper to run.

Thank you, I hope so too. The new one has a working radio and CD player, unlike the old one. She's nice, she's just not Bluebell. I get really attached to my cars.

Hope you get to enjoy her as much as your old one!
Any name for her?

She's a Micra Tempest, and she's silver, so I'm thinking Stormy...

I'll miss Bluebell, my last car, because I remember taking mum out in her. Tomorrow will be a year since mum went into hospital and never came home again. Now tomorrow will also be the day Bluebell goes away, she's being collected in the afternoon. =(

I'm sorry you had to get ride of your car, but I'm really glad you were able to get things worked out so quickly. It took the hubby and I almost two months of looking at cars to finally settle on one we both liked and wanted.

It took me about that long the last two times I had to replace my car. I was amazed I managed to find one so quickly, literally within a few hours! Must have been kismet.

Thank you. I'm sad about Bluebell, my old car. She was the last car I transported my late mum in. Bluebell's being collected tomorrow, and I have no idea what will happen to her now. =(
