I think it's the server. I stick with windows internet explorer because I can download as text files which I can't with Chrome (great for episode transcripts and stuff), but then things stop working for reasons and I can' t do the things I want to =(

Have you tw100 is back? YAY! Now maybe someone other than me will write some Torchwood fic. The fandom is getting a bit lonely, almost everyone seems to have gone somewhere else.
It might well have been an IE problem them. I use Firefox, and everything was fine over here. I hope things got straightened out for you without too much trouble.

I saw a new co-mod stepped up at tw100, yes! That's good news, and hope it helps inspire some muses. I feel a bit guilty, being one of those that drifted away. We had fun Torchwood renaissance going on there for awhile! Unfortunately I just stopped being able to think of anything fresh to write for it after awhile. Meeting GDL and going to Cardiff helped keep my love of Torchwood going a bit longer, but eventually I had to conclude that I was done. I still feel sad about it. sense. :(

If it's an IE problem, it's back again. I can't access LJ through IE at all again. Lost it for a day and a half, got it back for half a day, this morning it won't connect again. I hate using Chrome for this

Did your computer do windows updates recently? It might have installed the latest version of explorer which is really flakey with some websites. To check this go to help on the toolbar and click about internet explorer. If it says explorer 11 that might be the problem. (if the toolbar with help, file edit etc isn't showing right click on empty space up in the toolbar and chose menu bar) If you have version 11 you can try using chrome or downgrading to version 9 which is more stable.
Thanks, but it's not that, I've blocked explorer 10 long ago because it crashed my computer, now I'm set to choose which updates to accept and I don't accept explorer updates at all. I figured if 10 wasn't compatible with this computer, 11 wouldn't be either. I think they expect people to buy a new computer every time the update explorer so it will actually work. *rolls eyes* I'm staying with 9, it actually works. Mostly. I use Google Chrome for my emails because that doesn't keep logging me out.
I haven't but a lot of other people did. It finally seems to be working, but it's taken most of the day to get fixed. According to another of my lovely f-listers, it was affecting a lot of people. I think it must have been anyone using windows explorer. *sigh*
