The more I think about it. The more I believe Riley shouldn't have been Buffy's love interest. Funny how a rewatch change's one's perspective.

Their first kiss only happened because the babbling didn't get in the way during "Hush". That speaks volumes on how their communication styles were going to be a problem in the long run. At least when it came to romantic feelings.

Yeah, thins might never have got off the ground if everyone hadn't lost their voice. Probably would've been better that way.
