Every Halloween I like to offer the kids a little extra something along with their candy. I had intended to knit some little critters, but I was busy with other things and I never got started, so I decided to whip up a few pendants instead. I got a little carried away... Anyway, I promised a friend I'd post pictures, so here they are.

I haven't touched my beads box for an age. Still have a bunch of stuff I'd made with the intention of selling but never did. There was an amazing bead wholesaler I used to buy stuff from. They were all the way across town and it took forever to get the train there but it was huge, like an Aladdins cave of beads and bobs, and cheap if you bought in bulk. They closed their Melbourne warehouse though, so I'd have to buy from them online, or another place in Sydney which isn't too bad. Buying online just isn't the same as seeing them first hand.

I hadn't touched mine in forever either, and they're all over the place, so I've been rummaging in this box and that one... I just had the idea of doing pendants, and it was just going to be the charms, but ten I though... They could use a bit of something. I know! BEADS! I've bee giving away stuff the last few years that I made to sell. I could do with the money from selling, but the cost of a stall anywhere is prohibitive and I don't want to sell on ebay because then stuff has to be posted to buyers, so I just make and give away.
The bead warehouse sounds awesome, shame they closed. I much prefer seeing what I'm buying but I've ad to resort to ebay for the charms. Maybe next year if you pledge a little less for writing you'll have time to do a bit of crafting.

Love your Julie Benz icon! I always enjoyed Darla, so innocent to look at but so evil.
