A/N: Double drabble.
Modesty was something Torchwood agents couldn’t afford. When you’ve just been doused with corrosive alien blood that’s literally eating through your clothes, you strip, in front of the entire team, or if necessary, in front of complete strangers. Tosh had done that more than once, but much of her natural modesty had already been chipped away during her time in the UNIT prison facility. Disrobing in front of her colleagues, people she considered her friends, was actually easier.
Stripping down to her underwear every three months for medical checks didn’t bother her either, despite her crush on Owen. He might have the worst bedside manner of any doctor she’d ever encountered, but he was always completely professional when doing that part of his job, or when treating injuries, at least he was when it came to the women on the team.
So why was this so different, why was she blushing furiously as Owen slowly unbuttoned her blouse, revealing the pretty underwear she’d bought especially for their date? He’d seen her naked, or nearly so, dozens of times, but on those occasions, it hadn’t mattered whether or not he found her attractive. Now, tonight, it did.
“You’re beautiful,” Owen whispered.
