Double Drabble: Saving Lives

Summary: Way out in the Brecon Beacons, Jack and Ianto go to the aid of two aliens in need.

A/N: Double drabble.
“Stupid British weather!” Ianto grumbled. “If we were getting reasonable summer temperatures, we wouldn’t be having this problem, it would’ve been just fine!”
“I know, but we are, and it isn’t. Nelvar aren’t designed for such low temperatures. On their homeworld, it never drops below a balmy eighty degrees Celsius, and right now it’s barely fifty. They’ll freeze to death before we get them back to the SUV unless we take drastic measures.”
The two small aliens, in their skimpy clothing, were shivering uncontrollably and turning almost purple with the cold as the wind whipped around them. They were also barely conscious, and their crashed lifepod couldn’t offer them anything much in the way of protection from the unseasonably chilly conditions; it was too badly damaged. Hypothermia was setting in; there was only one thing the two humans could do.
“Skin-to-skin contact to share body heat.” Like Jack, Ianto was busily unfastening the various layers of his clothing, wincing at the cold wind against his warm flesh. “Good thing they’re so small. We can tuck them inside our shirts and carry them. I just hope they won’t think we’re taking liberties.”
“We’re saving their lives. Trust me, they’ll be grateful.”
