Ianto gazed out across the lush, green, gently waving grass and gave a resigned sigh. If it wasn’t one thing, it was another, and this really wasn’t something he felt like dealing with at barely six-thirty in the morning. Especially since it had been almost three before he and Jack had finally fallen into bed.
“I’m going to kill Owen!”
“Why?” Jack asked from behind him, then… “Oh.”
“Yes,” Ianto agreed. “Oh.”
“Are you sure this is Owen’s fault?”
“Are you saying you had something to do with it?”
“No, of course not, I was just wondering why you automatically assume Owen’s to blame, and not…” Jack trailed off. “No, you’re right, has to be Owen. He’s the plant expert, although, I doubt that he meant for this to happen.”
“He didn’t mean to upholster the entire Hub in shag carpeting that time either, but he still managed to. Just because it probably wasn’t intentional doesn’t make it any less of a problem.” Ianto waded out of Jack’s office through the knee-deep grass that appeared to cover every inch of the Hub’s floor.
“Where are you going?”
“To find some weedkiller.” Ianto paused. “Or possibly a scythe and gardening gloves.”
