Sarah Jane, Barbara, Ian, Polly, Jo, Harry, Leela, Nyssa, Adric, Tegan, Jamie, Mel, Ace, Rose, Martha, Donna, Clara, Amy… The list of names goes on and on, his travelling companions, so much more than merely friends. His partners in countless adventures, his assistants, the voices of his conscience.
Every one of them holds a special place in his heart, whether they were with him for years or a matter of days. Some are living out their lives somewhere in the universe while others are long gone, their lives ended far too soon.
The Doctor remembers them all, and always will.
