JJ simply couldn’t understand why Dee was resisting. After all this time, and all the ways he’d shown the black-haired love god how much he adored him, Dee was still refusing his advances. It made no sense. He’d been as clear as he possibly could be, had told Dee how he felt over and over, had demonstrated his affection in ways that could leave no doubt as to his sincerity, and yet he still hadn’t succeeded in persuading the object of his desires into his arms.
What made it worse was that Dee seemed to be applying some of JJ’s own tactics in a fruitless pursuit of his work partner, Ryo Maclean. He could have JJ for the asking, or even without asking because the answer would be yes anyway, but instead Dee was obsessed with someone who wasn’t even interested!
It was disgusting the way he fawned over Ryo, pawing at him, trying to kiss him, and getting rebuffed every time. Anyone else would have gotten the message by now, but Dee was oblivious.
Honestly, sometimes JJ just wanted to shake him, maybe that would snap Dee out of his delusional state. Why chase after someone he’d never have?
