A/N: Double drabble.
Sometimes Ryo struck Dee as a bit too detail oriented. That was especially true when it came to spring-cleaning. Why was it necessary to move all the furniture and appliances just to clean behind and underneath them? No one would be crawling around checking those places.
The same was true of the tops of doorframes, light fittings, and the tops of cupboards, but in Ryo’s opinion, all those areas had to be thoroughly cleaned. He even emptied out the kitchen cabinets, washing the insides before washing their contents and putting everything back.
“D’you have to be quite so finicky?” Dee passed another stack of pots to his partner, who placed them back on their usual shelf.
“You don’t have to help if you don’t want to. I’ll do it all myself.”
“That’s not what I meant; just seems like a lot of unnecessary effort is all. Who’s gonna know if ya don’t vacuum behind the washin’ machine, or wash the blinds, or get every last dust bunny from under the bed?”
“I will.” Ryo sat back on his heels. “I know I’m a perfectionist, but it’s only once a year, and it helps keep the roaches away.”
“Okay, you win.”
