A/N: Double drabble.
Ianto eyed the steep incline with trepidation. “Are you sure about this, Jack? It seems a bit… risky to me.”
“It’s not, it’s perfectly safe,” Jack assured his lover. “You did far more dangerous things back on earth, and anyway, this is a beginner’s slope. With the lighter gravity here, there’d be no chance of hurting yourself even if the bottom wasn’t designed for a comfy landing.”
“Comfy?” Ianto sounded dubious. “Didn’t look comfy to me.”
“That’s only because you’re thinking in earth terms. Trust me, you’re gonna love this.”
“Isn’t there something a little less steep?”
“If the angle of the slope was any less, you’d never be able to get up speed,” Jack insisted. “You used to love tobogganing, and you weren’t immortal then. Now stop fussing.”
“I’m not fussing, but you said the slope’s over a mile long; I can’t even see the bottom from here.”
“You’ll see it soon enough. Now hop on your mat and let’s go!”
“This is insane! You want me to sit on a rubber mat with handles and slide down a mountain…”
“It’s not a mountain, it’s a hill.”
Ianto sat on his mat.
Jack grinned. “See you at the bottom!”
