Why he was here, the Doctor had no idea. It wasn’t where he’d thought he was going so the TARDIS must be responsible. He didn’t know who the masked man in front of him was either, but he had a sword.
“Who are you?” the man demanded.
“I was about to ask you the same thing.”
“I’m the Dread Pirate Roberts.”
“No you’re not. I’ve met him before; he’s shorter, with brown hair and a beard.”
The masked man huffed. “Then I’m the new Dread Pirate Roberts.”
“Oh, well I’m the Doctor. Pleased to meet you. Where exactly am I?”
