Ianto waved a tentacle at Jack. “Don’t you go getting any ideas!” His lover was practically salivating.
“But Ianto…”
“Don’t!”
Jack’s pout was a work of art. “You’re a meanie. All those lovely tentacles and you won’t share!”
“Yes, of course, that’s all you care about, isn’t it? Never mind that I no longer have arms or legs, never mind that I can’t do my job like this, you just want to play with my tentacles! Priorities, Jack; have you ever heard of those?”
“Tosh is working on restoring you to… normal. I just don’t see why we can’t explore other possibilities while we’re waiting. I mean, what else are you going to do? You already said you can’t do your job like this, although I’m not sure why not. Tentacles are very versatile. Anything hands can do, tentacles should be able to manage just as well.”
“In that case, I have work to do, reports to type, which might take a bit longer than usual.” Ianto splayed his tentacles; there were a lot, and he wasn’t sure if he could control them all at once.
“But what about me?” Jack whined.
“Sorry, Jack; you’ll have to play with yourself.”
