Julie Borromeo runs Dance Arts Studio and was one of the founders of not only Philippine Ballet Theatre but also Dance Theatre Philippines, which is the progenitor of PBT. My dad danced for her. Wow I feel so uncultured... living right across their place and not caring for dance!

We knew Dance Arts Studio more as a place where artistas rehearsed their show (especially Vilma's back in the day). And they used to have a bakeshop with the yummiest ensaymada.

I'd be excited over Vilma too. Dance Arts was able to keep afloat thanks to the dancers performing in TV. My dad was actually in a movie, dancing back-up while Vilma was singing. I remember seeing it on TV as a little girl and screaming, "Dadddyyyy!!! You're on TV!!!!" Hahaha.

I use mechanical pencils. No need to sharpen, that way :)

And in line with the Ate Vi thread, last shoot she hugged me and kissed me. It was rather surreal but I was too tired to live in the surreality at the time :P

I think mechanical pencil lead is flimsy. I don't know why, I'm just OC that way. I actually saw this reply tagal na, but I think it was when I was sleepy or something. I remembered to reply only now because I'm writing with pencils again and thought of you. Wooshoo.
