haha, tigilan na kasi ang issue na yan. ;P i didn't cheat but i was actually expecting to get Storm (the traumatized but powerful dyosa) or Rogue (as in sisipsipin ko powers mo, pare, but i love you. *i am saying this in the most virgin-sounding way i can.*) pero wala e, walang lusot pagka-evil ko. *thunderclaps*

I turned out to be Iceman, funnily enough.

The Lake House was based on a beautiful Korean film called Il Mare -- the very first Korean movie I ever watched, and still one of my favorites. (I adore Jun Ji-hyun! Oh, and that guy, whatsisface, was pretty good in it too.) When I first heard about the Hollywood remake, I thought no good would come of it, but I have to admit now I'm curious.

I haven't seen Sky of Love, but if I'm not mistaken, it was based on another Korean movie, called Ditto -- which I also saw, and enjoyed, though not as much as I enjoyed Il Mare. This type of movie is so popular in Korea that it's basically recognized as a genre unto itself, often called "love across time." :)

coolness! actually, i did see "Il Mare" in the credits as the movie it was based on, and it was SO FAR AWAY from sky of love, so i did think, hmmmm... did il mare have a happy or a sad ending?

these koreans and their love across time...
