(no subject)
i took that xmen meme that's going around, then decided to manipulate it so that i would be Mystique, because swanky loves women with blue skin and no angst (go figure). i managed to get her the first time i cheated and was so excited to post it here. but dyewels beat me to it. i'm in despair!!!
before i cheated, i was storm. both times i took the quiz without cheating. something about me being dyoza-like.

i bought constantine a toy, actually swanky picked it out (and wrongly got a toy for the 2-9month old set, when constan is a year old already) but i paid for it, and it was my idea so there. anyway, i insisted on a chew toy because cons is grabbing my forearms like they're delectable bones and i wanted one that bounced. cons loves it to death and has super fun with it, so i'm happy. however, the chew toy is small so i'm worried that he'll swallow it whole, or in parts, i don't know. the manual says don't let him play with it unsupervised, so imagine my horror that the next time i look for him and his toy, it's nowhere to be found! i checked all his hiding places, it was gone!!!! i wailed at him, "where's your toy??? did you eat it??? spit it out!!!" he replied by running away from me and hiding under lucas' legs.
this morning, before i left for school, i saw him under the dining table chewing on - surprise!- his chewtoy. "Aha!" i said aloud. cons dropped the toy and looked up at me with this super innocent-yet-guilty face, as if to say, "what chew toy?" bleaheheheh!
mom was talking to quincy on the phone and he asked her do we teach the constan tricks, and mom said, "no, he's just smart on his own and that's why he's so spoiled because he's just naturally cute and deserving of our love." hahahahaha. mom needs a grandchild.

jacqui and i are watching the lake house tomorrow after i get home from school. i'm super curious because it's sandra bullock's first movie after crash, after having said that crash had such a strong impact on her and she cannot make a lesser movie ever again. so i'm thinking lake house should be special. jacqui says people say it's based on "a korean movie." i said, actually, it sounds like a movie ken zhu had recently done, entitled sky of love. and she said, "yeah, that's the korean movie..."
i actually love sky of love, and not just because it's starring ken zhu, there are so many things really good about it - story and cinematography and the beautiful scenes, to name a few. i was surprised it was rather good, because the rest of f4 came up with really horrible movies, hahaha. anyway, i was saddened that it was the least popular movie because it was, compared to the others who did action movies about boxers and fantasy love movies about magic kitchens, sky of love was an art film and who watches those? (bleah)
(since we're on the topic, do i really want to become a mass marketer without a soul again? it seems if i take this upcoming job, that's what i'll be. or am i just being melodramatic as usual? double bleah. going back...)
so i'm rather surprised to be sitting in netopia, wondering what to blog about, when i overhear these people talk about the lake house as a rip off of sky of love. oh really, you saw that movie, hmmmm? but i don't talk to strangers.
