I just started season 2 of Homeland. I've heard plenty of criticism but not looked at it too seriously since I'm trying to avoid spoilers. I don't love everything about it but it definitely knows how to hook you (and developed by another XF writer, Howard Gordon).

I gave up on OUAT as well, although I hear season 3 is an improvement so far.

I was bored watching the pilot of Agents of SHIELD. Don't think I'll bother.

Yeah, Homeland S2 was a different beast than S1, but I guess I must be easy to please because I really enjoyed it.

Yes, I heard OUAT is better this season, I might give it a go.

Agent of SHIELD: IKR? What a disapointment.

Love your whale icon! XX

Yeah, how many shows ended up "properly"? not many by my count. I loved the Sopranos ending even though it threw me at first and even though it was hugely controversial.

Desperate Housewives ended OK, I guess.

I can't say anything else left a lasting effect. And don't get me started on LOST or BATTLESTAR GALACTICA endings. I mean seriously guys, srsly???

I quit watching Breaking Bad at the end of season two. It was clear where Gilligan was taking the series, and I was positive I didn't want to go there. It's an excellent series, but by that point I no longer found it enjoyable to watch.

For the new season, we are watching Elementary and I'm still loving it, Kyle enjoys it. I am watching Nashville and still loving it. He says he "is not going to get hooked on that show," except he kept interrupting me every two minutes to ask questions about the characters. I am rewatching The X-Files with xf_is_love very quickly, and with my dad, very slowly. Still love my show.

I watched the pilot episode of Masters of Sex on Youtube. I thought it was excellent. But it's a premium channel and I'm not sure I like it enough to pay extra for it.

My favorite show of last season was The Americans. It had outstanding plots, characters, acting, everything. Highly recommended.

I am going to start a rewatch of Fringe soon. I have some old shows in the pipeline. We just finished disc six of Ken Burns' The Civil ( ... )

I can perfectly get why Breaking Bad would be off putting. As much as I admire the "craft" I can't say it's a show I will ever love enough to rewatch.

I heard good thing about Master of Sex, I will give it a go. And haven't you heard of streaming Wendy?

I watched the pilot for the Americans but it didn't grab me, I guess I had enough of spy stories with Homeland. I might give it another go, after all it took me several tries before I stuck with Homeland.

I never managed to go beyond Fringe S2, I've tried twice already. I can't muster any investment for the characters for some reason.

Civil War sounds interesting. Let me know if Friday Night Lights is any good.

I'm giving SHIELD a few more episodes to hit its stride, but despite my adoration of Clark Gregg (and Coulson), and the fact that Ming-Na Wen seems pretty awesome, I'm not very impressed so far. Hoping it makes some huge improvements.

Yeah, you know, I can see SHIELD being cancelled down the line. I don't want to be pessimistic, but it doesn't look like it's going to gel.

Aaaah, your icon....*swoon*

I bet they'll give it at least a full season even if it doesn't improve (which I very much hope it does!), but yeah.

He's mighty nice-looking, isn't he? :)

He is so very pretty. I have trouble watching Castle these days because your icon is how my shallow mind believes Nathan Fillon should look like. Say what you want but age is not being kind to him. Duchovny now...this is a man who looks sexier the older he gets.
