Only commenting now because I've just finished watching the pilot in time for the second episode tonight. Can't say I'm hooked, plot-wise, but Gillian's character has sass! Several times I thought of Scully, I must admit.

Watched the two episodes in a row (thank you iPlayer and thank you super quiet night shifts), and I love it! So bloody good. As you said, it's so nice to see her having a lead role.
