The first few sentences were obvious: "almonds were all they could afford", "a blonde named Brooke who liked baseball". But then it must get complicated--that, or the author got lazy. (I'm going with lazy.)

Sex in the Pokemon fandom will never stop squicking me out. This is a kid's franchise! What if they stumble onto something they really shouldn't know for a couple more years? (In which sex ed will probably be light in comparison [not to mention factual].)
