That is it. The fangirl's have crossed a line.

They've pulled THE vampire-Count Dracula himself-into Twilight. And they've done it badly. You have been warned.

Click only if you can stand to watch the author rape Dracula's character. )

If the author of Twilight couldn't be buggered to read Dracula, neither could any of the fans.

This makes me inexplicably weary. Dracula is the only book about vampires that I regard with respect. Every other book after that should be thrown to the sharks.

How the heck do you write a vampire story and NOT read Dracula? Oh wait... I forgot that Meyer's 'vampires' are just really strong humans that sparkle. *rolls eyes*

Oh dear. This simply won't do. No one talks like that. D: And of course there's Dracula's character rape.

I know it's almost unfair to expect anyone to accurately describe Dracula, but what really gets me is that in canon, all his relations with human women bore strong rape overtones (especially the scene with Mina.) And now everyone makes him seductive, and portrayals have the women going to him to escape their broing lives.

*Sigh*

Not only does the author ruin a classic, I seem nothing at all Twilight about this story. So they destroy a literary icon for no reason.

that bothered me to no end. I mean, where is the Twilight? Not that I want this in the Dracula section, but still.
