A picture is worth a thousand words

My town is celebrating its Bicentennial this year. In July, there was a "Heritage Days" celebration complete with a parade down Main Street. The senior center where I work dressed up the van and entered it as a float. It won an award. Here is a picture.

This banner was on proud display in the front lobby. )

ot, wtf

How can something be the most one of a kind?

It's like saying, you're the most you there is!

It's also potentially tongue-in-cheek as awards go. "Was it any good?" "It was very...unique."

It was unique all right. *facepalm*

I'm ashamed to say I missed the "Most Unique" problem because I was so focused on the "Supervisor's Award... Unit".

I want to be the unit inspector!! How many men are contestants? Of these, how many can I simply disqualify before they de-pants themselves?

Yes... my mind does visit the gutter quite often, as a matter of fact. But, at least it doesn't live there!

I know these people. *twitch*

It's a senior center. There are very few men. Average age - 75
The town doesn't have a mayor, it has a supervisor--who is male this time around. *twitches again*
