Oh, FF VII, you cheat me so~~~

Let me tell you this: When I set my eyes on this little something (which happened on 05-09-08 if we want to be precise), it only had two chapters. Now there are four.
And the infamous Flame Rising has already caught sight of this fic too.Not as much of a badfic as some rather awkward descriptions and such. And blatant plagiarism starting chapter ( Read more... )

I know about the masochist thing - I just went to that lovely C2 on FFN looking for a nice little badfic for a private sporking, and picked this one because it's a fandom I actually know. Then I came here and saw that my masocistic tendencies are shared.

What fascinates me most (apart from the somewhat ramdom dialoge) is how badifc authors waste entire paragraphs describing outfits that no normal person can picture anyway.

And: If you plan on flaming, try not to use language ok? For the win!

Didn't the author state at the beginning that she (?) wouldn't accept flames? However she wants to stop them from coming...

Oh, and lovely sporking by the way!
We all know Cloud is the only blonde person on the planet...

Following the advice of one of the reviewers, she turned anonymous comments on. So now I wonder... when will the tidal wave hit?

Oh, and thank you~. 'twas a fun ordeal.

Yeah, she completely had me lost on the that whole outfit thing. All I got was "capes" and "sleeves". xX;

Her hair is the colour of... cream? So it's... off-white? Like when old ladies get that colour wash in their hair which kind of... tinges their hair a weird colour?

O_O

Also, I like now a stiff breeze can flow. I can imagine a stiff breeze can possibly flow as well as a stiff block of cement. O_o

Hmm... A plunging breeze. I like the imagery that gives me.

You are generous in what you consider "not bad."

Action? Hello, Action, are you there? It's really crowded with description from where I'm standing. Once that wind died down, we were just standing there for ages.

Amusing that she expects to be flamed.

Five years ago, I started from a spot not too far from this, so yes. With a little effort (especially dialogue and characterisation-wise) it could be easily turned into a mediocre-good writing.

Who needs dramatic action when one can just dramatically stand?

You make a good point. I've always had a bit of a knack for writing that in turn makes me incredibly critical of myself and others. People have told me they believe I'd make a good teacher, but I don't think I have the patience for it.

Since, technically, she plagiarised the Advent Children movie itself, I'm not sure if it would fit on that site.

And thank you~

Oh, I see. I was under the [false] impression that she'd directly plagiarized from someone.... [I haven't seen the movie. *shame* xDD]

You're welcome! ^______________^

lmao I found this little one the other night in probably the SAME C2, and was going to spork it after that first paragraph, because I just COULDN'T work out the outfit no matter how many times I read it.

But then reading through it I was suddenly taken way back to my early days of fandom, and couldn't bring myself to do it :(
