[If you've been paying any attention to Fate what she's doing right now is fairly typical. It's early in the morning, and even if it is starting to get chilly, that means she's training. It's a little bit more difficult than usual for her, because she doesn't have her familiar, but she'll make do. The nine-year old is swooping and dodging things in

[Early in the morning is usual for Ryuutaro as well and so is being outside at that time. It's only logical for them to run into each other.
Her training was... interesting to watch. Ryuutaro stopped in his morning walk, watching her for a moment.]

Quite impressive.

[Fate is shaking a little- really, that routine shouldn't be so draining, but she's been training more frequently, which means she has less resources, which means she's likely to get exhausted.] It's not that impressive. [She's certainly managed more impressive, at least.]

Impressive enough, but I understand if that's not enough by your standards.

[He actually understands, but not that he actually sounds like it. He just has this friendly tone that always seems a little bit ironic, but not too much to really offend]

[Fate nods a little bit, clothes changing into something a bit more normal after a moment of being reduced to a gold glow. Bardiche, too, changes- he's now in standby mode, going in her jacket pocket. His tone doesn't bother her much- she was sort of raised on under a rock.]

[If it had been enough, maybe her mother wouldn't have...] Do you not have any mages in your world?

*he almost doesn't notice, so concentrated he is on holding his power in still a little sensitive after Silent Hill, but as he gets absorbed in his notes he relaxes his hold until he's subconsciously reaching out to check on everyone he knows in the manor, an old habit from when he and Raven would children.

Fate perks his interest, and he sets aside his journal as he finds a window he can look out of that would be close enough to her. What he sees is both amazing, and alarming.

Worried, he focuses his power until Fate is the brighter sense in his mind, and reaches out*

*meanwhile, he's going to be making his way out of the manor and towards where she's training*

[Fate is just standing there, breathing a bit heavily.] I'm fine, I've just been training more frequently lately. [Read as: it's the only thing she can think of to do with herself during downtime. Because clearly she can't do nothing and rest, that would be silly.]

You shouldn't push yourself so hard, you could hurt yourself.

*he's jogging up, only mildly out of breath. Hmm, he needs to start running again, or else he's going to be out of shape*

I know exactly what I am doing, and Bardiche would warn me if I were cutting my reserves dangerously low. [Because if she's not pushing herself so hard... Well, maybe if she gets better, if she gets stronger, her mother will take her back.]

[Allen for once thought it would be a good idea to go out and train before he'd go to eat, so making his way outside, he stopped dead in his tracks, spotting someone he recognises from one of the plots.

As he watched he had to wonder how a girl as young as this one looked managed to be that skilled.]

[Fate holds a hand out, Bardiche returning to his smaller form and her barrier jacket vanishing in favor of regular clothes in a flash of gold light. She looks at Allen and tilts her head a little bit.] Good morning.

[She's going to start heading toward the manor, though- she doesn't want to cramp up.]

[Allen watching for a moment before smiling a tiny bit.]

Good morning. I'm guessing you were just training, am I right?

[While he isn't overly surprised considering the Order where he was from and age limits, he still couldn't help but wonder why a young child would need to.]

[Fate is nodding.] Especially here, there is no excuse to let it slide.

[Beacuse it's his first time seeing the display, Conan will be hovering on the sidelines, watching every action Fate takes and inwardly trying to explain the... glowing blasts.]

[Fate's landing, clothes changing in a glow of golden power. Bardiche is shrinking down to his standby form, and she's starting to make her way back to the manor. She's mostly-ignoring Conan- she needs to get inside before she cramps up.]

[The clothes aren't that hard to explain; a flashbomb, and quick hands, perhaps. Conan gapes slightly when Bardiche shrinks, but says nothing about it as he starts to trail behind Fate.]

Excuse me, uh--[She looked a tad older than her...]neechan?

[She's pausing to look down at Conan- he looks about two years younger than her.] Yes?

[Was going to do a little training of her own when she saw Fate shaking and looking out of breath]

Fate, are you all right?

[hasilluminate]

[Fate looks up and smiles a little bit.] I'm fine, I've just been training more than usual lately.
