[Ichabod's heart jumped that his once old friend had returned to this dismal place. The recent events have been somewhat entertaining but being the scientist that he is there was no time to make fun of the situation. Perhaps it was his eyes playing tricks on him. Maybe it's the author playing tricks on his mind. Either one, he wasn't about to give in to his emotions and decides to take a more objective approach.]

Sadly, this is no hotel. We are in a place called the Manor and as much as I would like to go into details, I fear that there is too much information to discuss in abbreviated form. In other words, the shortened version would be that you have been press-ganged into this place by a person unseen.

Yes, it seems that the subject now is common knowledge though I must say in our defense that our kidnapping came at no expense to our physical well-being. At least the surroundings are hospitable to say the least providing of course that anything is familiar for use.
