Good afternoon.
It is highly inefficient for each of us to go looking for this misplaced blueprint on our own. Therefore, I propose a suggestion: Share information for mutual benefit.
If you would

The sooner we all have a roof over out heads, the better. [because being outside all week is what has made the poor thing sick >: ]

[Impassive at best. A roof is nice, but Near has other plans for the blueprint. >8D]

He's there to make sure that Near's taken care of in the muscle department. Hiiro himself isn't lacking brains, but it helps to have a like-minded person (read as friend to a pilot) when trying to reach a common goal. While Near finishes up, the young man looks around their current surroundings, watching and listening in case someone hears the voice carrying to come inspect it. Normally he and Near are quiet anyway, but it never hurts to be alert poem much?.
Blue eyes turn down to the darker ones, nodding his head once.]]

Near. What do you know about the whereabouts of L, Yagami Light, and Beyond?

Wrong line, Mello. Please hold.
[He's just slightly annoyed when people can't seem to follow directions.]

If you're referring our world, assuming the same events occurred and-or will have occurred for both of us, I probably know as much about L and Beyond as you do. I would know more about Yagami and his role in the investigation, since I am from your future.
If you're referring to this fabricated reality, I know everything that has been on public feeds since April 4th of this timeline and some things via word-of-mouth and interrogation.
Would you like to know the details of the people in question with regards to our world, this one, or both?

But given that he, for once, wants something from Near aside from his recognition and defeat, he bites back all those sharp remarks ready and waiting on his tongue and shows enough restraint to restrict his response to the necessities]

As he gets even closer the temperature rises, until finally he's overhead. Lava oozes from his chest onto the ground below, and all life seems to wither in his path, leaving a trail him of destroyed land.
So boys, how's that fort security looking?]

Yes, Near remembers seeing this maniac, overweight lizard on the feeds before. He also remembers making a mental note to never approach it. So much for that. In this unstable world thriving on logical fallacies, where barely 33% of what you can expect to happen actually follows through, it's basically impossible to avoid surprises.
And oh, how Near hates surprises.
He doesn't move or speak. He'll just wait for you to go away.
So GTFO. Now.]

let's stare some more and see what it does.]

Great. It notices him.
If the beast had wanted to destroy him as is, it would have done so already. Not only that, if its sole intent was to harm even those who have done nothing to provoke it, Near would have already heard about multiple deaths already or at the very least news of serious injuries. There are more than enough idiots to justify that reasoning. Therefore, he should safe as is, though the percentages are still too low for comfort. Nevertheless, running would not be wise. Neither would making any sudden moves.
Near remains still.]
