[Shaun has found himself in the buffet breakfast area in dire need of a cuppa. Sadly however when he does get said cup of tea, he spits it right back out into the cup.]

What the bloody hell is this?! It's like drinking stagnant dishwater! Trust the yanks to ruin a perfectly good thing. Is there actually anything that's edible here?

[He huffs and ( Read more... )

Well technically I can, because it's the way that country makes it.

You haven't tasted real tea have you? American food is painfully processed in comparison to anywhere else, even if it's 'organic'.

Uh...the proprietor is Scottish.

[He's piling up bacon and waffles on his plate with a glop of scrambled eggs on the side.]

At least that's what I remember from the movie.

Like that girl would even know what Scottish tea tasted like. No, this is distinctively American in taste.

[Shaun however was going straight for the fruit, because lo and behold - the last Mango was there waiting for him.]

Ah. Tea in a bag that tastes like crap and looks like filtered mud. I don't drink the stuff anyway.

[Sheldon was never much of a healthy eater anyway. He loved pork too much but he's as skinny as a rail and takes the orange juice.]

[Shaun pauses looking at him.]

...I'm not sure I want to know what's been passing itself off as tea that you've seen.

[Shaun's plate gradually got covered with more than just the Mango, after all, it was rare that he got so much to have for meals that was a free-for all. That and he was still sore about the yoghurts business with Lucy back home.] His plate was covered in crumpets, scones and a very fat looking bacon buttie.]

Tell me about it.

[Snape has a plate with toast and sausages on it, a glass of water in his hand.]

Honestly... You'd think they'd have more to offer in a tropical resort like this. Or something more flavoursome.

[But.. he wasn't complaining about the bacon or the espresso. Those could stay.]

Clearly they have bigger concerns than the food they serve their guests.

[Not that he wanted to be here anyway, but that's beside the point.]

Mm. Their patron's money, if I recall the film right.

Or the dinosaurs getting loose and breeding, but hey the chances of that are tiny.

[Sarcasm. He has it.]

[Saguru is skipping the tea for now, and picking over the breakfast - which isn't that bad, really.]

There's usually decent loose tea in the Manor itself... unfortunately it looks like it didn't get brought here.

[Shaun groans and reaches for some orange juice instead.]

Bloody typical isn't it?

How long do you think it'll be until it becomes a right cluster fuck?

Depending on her whims?

By the usual pattern, around the weekend, or towards the end of the week. She's usually quite predictable, although I'd hate to get caught off guard on an assumption.

[Shaun nods.]

Good, that at least gives me time to work out how we can keep ourselves from being dinner for those things.

You recall the control room and the Power outhouse right?
