[Shaun has found himself in the buffet breakfast area in dire need of a cuppa. Sadly however when he does get said cup of tea, he spits it right back out into the cup.]

What the bloody hell is this?! It's like drinking stagnant dishwater! Trust the yanks to ruin a perfectly good thing. Is there actually anything that's edible here?

[Saguru is skipping the tea for now, and picking over the breakfast - which isn't that bad, really.]

There's usually decent loose tea in the Manor itself... unfortunately it looks like it didn't get brought here.

Depending on her whims?

By the usual pattern, around the weekend, or towards the end of the week. She's usually quite predictable, although I'd hate to get caught off guard on an assumption.

[He nods to that.] I've been getting maps in a notebook. It'll depend on how the Author handles this - we can't guarantee she'll follow what the original story was at all.

Sounds bloody fickle-- well, if she's trying to create something vaguely passable as original when it's a 'fan-fiction'.

Has she put you in a situation similar to this, I mean that's as pop culture-themed as this is?

That part's almost hard to say - we've been through a few battles already... and there's no telling what's "pop culture" to her in some debased form that might mirror reality for one of us. This is the first one I've recognized.
