[Shaun approached the pen casually. So far all seemed fine, 'make the most of the calm Hastings.']

[Already very, very much on edge, Nina almost literally jumps out of her skin when Shaun suddenly made himself known]

True. But from what I've seen of the Author's patterns things won't go bad just yet. Why screw us over instantaneously? If she's keeping with the films we'll be safe for a while, it's just about being prepared.

[Zira is prowling restlessly, wandering around searching for the weird smells. She spots the flailing girl from before and saunters up to her. She too looks into the enclosure, just barely making out the shape of a large bird-looking lizard.]

You're being sill you know. If they haven't attacked you yet, they won't until later.

[She snickered, tail tip twitching as she watched the dinosaur, curious.]
