[Holmes just watches Kuja in amusement, before clearing his throat]

They're very affectionate you know..

[He already has one nestled in his hair, another in his hands. He looks waay too happy with the situation]

[Kuja blinks and tilts his head.]

I'm more accustomed to cute and affectionate being a death trap, so pardon my skepticism.

[By the time Aoko will have arrived there Kuja will be mostly dressed, but also flailing about the fact that the tribble seems to have spawned more.]

They multiply? [Groan.] Is this their way of protesting leaving my room?

Yes Kuja. It is the most deadliest of beasts. More lethal than an enraged Antlion under a berserk spell. [except his face is twitching because he is having a hard time keeping up the serious act]

Need me to come rescue you?

[Have a frowny face for you bro.]

I am fine. I am just cautious of what it is considering the hack writer's previous attempts to seemingly place our lives in mortal danger simply for her amusement.

It's called a Tribbles. Read that somewhere on the network. Don't know anymore than that, though.

Tribbles? I see. So they just sit there and purr? What a pointless little existence. They could at least heal you be harvested into something worth selling at a market...

[Still glaring the Tribble doesn't seem to like the idea of being skinned much and wriggles out of his grip.]

Hm.

[ASDFGHJJKL a new face. He sighs and picks the thing up.]

Have you never considered the possibility that this is another of the Hack Writer's attempts to kill us?

And thus the ingenuity of her ploy. Deceive us with their appearance to lull us into a false sense of security.

I do not trust them in the slightest.

Loving the nightgown. Anyway those things are just popping up everywhere I don't know what they are, but they make very good hats.

[He's going to take the high ground on that...]

What in Gaia's name is she planning now?

If you mean the Author, maybe she finally snapped and is going to kill us by drowning us in fluff.

How... original of her. Though to be honest from the way people are talking I'm fairly sure we'll die of starvation before suffocating.
