OK seriously? I'd like to die now please and thank you! I am miserable as fuck and feel like crap. I'm also fully aware of the fact I'm a gigantic baby and only have a cold - I would however like to find the inventor of this 'common cold' and give it the fuck back to them

Aw feel better. Its not fun feeling sick.

I know the one time I had no voice (and we had the same policy--YOU have to call out not someone else)...I called and then when they couldn't understand me, I handed the phone to my mom and she goes "Okay so you heard or well didn't hear her...so she's sick." It worked.

Aww, I'm sorry about the sicky! I think there's just a part of the cold that makes you feel like you're dying. I haven't had all the sicky you've had at once, but I have had a lung infection and laryngitis, and colds do for some reason make you feel even worse.

Well... you could kinda play around the rules and call in, make a few rasping sounds, then have someone take the phone away from you and translate into actual words... I might have used that a time or two...
