Can someone gift my musculoskeletal team a thesaurus? Because I'm getting quite paranoid over how many people are describing my x-ray as 'interesting
( Read more... )
Oh, I don't think I ever did write about my x-ray results... thanks for the reminder.
So I have an asymmetrical pelvis - two sides of my pelvis, my ilia, are different. They're different shapes, they're different sizes and they're at different angles. My whole pelvis is at an angle and tilted. My femurs go into my pelvis 'too straight' and my spine goes in crooked. I also have an extra bit of bone, a 'projection' on the left hip socket
All of this is why I walk so weird and have so much pain in my knees, hips and lower back - I've been compensating for the last 37 years and its just hit the point where my body went 'nope' and someone finally thought to x-ray my hips! And then they went 'oh, that's interesting'
