So I don't want to be one of those annoying people who talk about their pets constantly*, but I do want to say that Reinette was 95% perfect today. It's kind of a random number. Are you planning to bring her with you places all the time? That's so neat!

If she ends up going through a chewing phase while teething, I recommend Nylabones.

Kong toys are really good for hiding treats in as a puzzle. She probably won't need as much entertainment as my corgi, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

I've also been meaning to mention that there is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel on our street named Amelia, and her owner is training her in agility. They have a little course set up outside.

She's slightly unhappy with me at the moment, because I had to move her head off of my hand so I could type. She's so little that she has to come with me for now, and I try not to travel on the bus during peak hours because the crate takes up a lot of room. I definitely keep hearing about Nylabones and Kongs. I'll get her some shortly, but she's not allowed to come in contact with other dogs (ie at Petsmart) until after Monday when she's had her most recent shots, so I'll get them then. For now we have other toys and biscuits.

Cavaliers are supposed to be really smart and easy to train because they just want to please so badly, so they're great for specialty training to keep them fit and challenged. When she's older we may do something like that with her.

Reinette is beautiful, and she was so good today! I think she's gotten the hang of using the puppy pad, and right now she's settled down and appears to be sleeping in her crate.
