If by Grinch you mean utterly befuddled by the fact that they are having S7, that's fine with me. I don't really want you raining on my parade as I try to craft something though...so, I guess it depends how negative you feel vs. how much of that you'll have to express? Well, I pretty much felt completely disconnected from both Damon and Elena for the last two seasons? I don't like how their relationship developed, and it just doesn't work for me. So, your choice :).

So excited that you're tackling another huge story especially since Saved by Grace remains one of my favorite stories ever and it's one of the ones that can be (and I have) read multiple times. I don't have enough words for how much I adore Saved by Grace - it's my go to story when I want something excellent to read and when I want especially perfect Damon characterization. Plus Lydia is one of the best original characters.
