I... um. I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I just. Want it. So bad. So, if this isn't allowed, I'm really sorry. TT-TT Since I have no idea if this is categorized as spoilery or not... just in case, so...
Err, so I've been rereading No Beginning No End and Fight for Us Both (which supposed to be in the same universe.) written by an AWESOME writer!anon. And I started to question, did Yosuke ever get Susano-O back? Not as a Shadow, as a Persona and all its powers? What if he never got his Persona back and his Shadow stays as a Shadow? What if he still couldn't forgive himself for wanting to be done with Souji? What if, somehow, they all need to fight the Shadows again and Yosuke could only be a hindrance without his Persona, but insists to fight ( ... )

this is amazingly written as always - i love how you've taken personality traits of souji & yosuke and believably matured them. nanako is just the young woman that i expected her to grow into. what yosuke said hit me the hardest - he may have grown up, but a lot of that bitterness/insecurity is still there.
i can't tell you how happy i am to see more from you. thanks for indulging us and writing more. ♥

Not so secret: bitter!Yosuke is a favourite Yosuke of mine. 8D; Not sure how Souji has put up with that for so long. :|

And what I remember now is that I love you. Completely and fully, unabashedly. You are quite honestly probably my favorite writer from any fandom I have ever had. Thank you so much for this. And for the two fills that preceded it. ♥ You have your biggest fan in me, and I am quite literally thrumming with excitement over the prospect of yet more to look forward to.

April 3, 2022It was another full week before the opportunity to travel to the other world made itself available. Working around Yosuke’s schedule was essential - it had to be done at a time when his presence at Junes wouldn’t raise any eyebrows, but nor would he be missed when he disappeared for a while. Nanako had graduated from Yasogami a few weeks previously, but the new term would begin the following week and Souji was busy preparing for the imminent influx of students. Heading into a potentially dangerous situation already tired from working a full day seemed risky to him. So it wasn’t until the next Sunday after Yosuke’s shift that the three of them were able to make it to the Junes electronics department, prepared for battle, but hoping they wouldn’t need to be ( ... )

Fifteen minutes passed, then another fifteen, then another. It occurred to Souji that he didn’t really know what triggered a Shadow’s appearance, beyond an extended stay on this side of the television. His own had appeared under duress, but Yosuke’s seemed content to show up to torment him simply at its own whim. Maybe Nanako’s would take its time. Maybe it wasn’t coming at all ( ... )

“Big bro-!” Nanako shouted. Souji looked to her, and then to where she was pointing. Opposite the stack of televisions, long black arms were reaching up over the edge of the railing, grasping for something to hold on to.
“Come on!” Yosuke groaned, as he viciously stabbed another shadow. “Where the hell are they all coming from ( ... )

Another long, long pause. “Like what?” Yosuke asked.
“You tell me.”
Yosuke shrugged. “I… honestly, I don’t know. It might have been my Shadow. Might have been Susano-O. It was - I don’t know, it was far away. Too far away to hear.”
“So you weren’t hearing it, then.”
“No. Argh, it’s… it’s hard to explain. You know what it’s like when someone you trust gives you really good advice? Even if it wasn’t your idea, you still feel awesome just going along with it? That’s what it felt like. I don’t know what it was telling me to do, but I - partner, I really, really wanted to do it.”
And that’s when Souji heard it: an alarming strain in Yosuke’s voice that drastically altered the entire context of his words. Whatever Yosuke had felt compelled to do, he hadn’t wanted to want to do it at all ( ... )

I'm loving this more and more, and what you called "a giant ball of yarn of dropped plot threads" got me hooked--it looks more intriguing as it goes. More surprises coming out, I see. <333 I like how you described Souji's determination to protect his 'family'--it gives a firmer feeling of their bond, if you know what I mean. And it's really, really nice to see taht small moment of Souji-Yosuke-Nanako's little not-quite-bickering with Souji-Nanako teamed up to tease Yosuke. Reading it, I feel like saying "Aah~ some things just don't change~~" :p Oh, and I love how Yosuke is still all "Dude, it's that annoying bear Teddy, what do you expect?" but then goes all worried and stuff over the so-called dumb bear. XDDD I like their brotherly-bonding for some reason ( ... )
