What the hell? It's definitely not okay for her to touch you! That is a huge no-no. I would go back and register a comment/complaint about her.

That could be grounds to file assault charges against her. I've seen pushy sales people, but how socially inept do you have to be to just grab someone like that!?

You could file charges, but no judge would uphold them. Assault has a specific legal definition and requires intent to threaten or harm.

You'd have better luck with battery.

Depends on the state. If I recall correctly NY doesn't have a battery statute and everything is assault.

Agreed. She is going to get them sued or, at the very least, make them lose their business.
