When I grab a quick snack on campus, I'll usually flip through my class notes. I don't devote my time at the cafeteria to do any hardcore studying since it (duh) tends to be pretty loud ( Read more... )

school woes, maybe they thought you were deaf, cool story bro!, consider living in a bubble, maybe they were zombies, in 2009... and in a hookah bar, victim blaming?, huh?, defensive much?

That's what I'm thinking. I worked in a college cafeteria and that was WAYYYY more fun than studying....When I was in school I'd have taken a root canal if it meant I didn't have to study...

Guess that's why I work retail now D'OH!

Considering my really large university has a really large student center with a really large caf, a lot of students study there. I still think it's pretty bad service.

They weren't providing a service, however. They never said anything while she was grabbing a "quick snack". They were on break. Sure, what they said was rude and uncalled for, if they said that, but it wasn't bad service.

Shit happens. I'm not saying it's awesome. And it sucks that they said that. But it's still not bad service.
