Haha, wow. Over the top. I would have gotten out of the car and followed him back inside to talk with the manager. And yeah, never gone there again, on top of that. But I like to let places know why they've lost my business.

Write a letter to the owner telling him what happened. If the food is delicious it would be a shame if you couldn't go there anymore. However my love for Japanese restaurants might be clouding my judgement here. :3

Yeah, this. Because the manager may not have any idea that this shit is going on and doesn't deserve to end up out of business because of bad waitstaff he doesn't know is bad. (Which is totally different from going out of business because of bad waitstaff whom he does know are bad)
