Pickings are Slim

Alright, I know searching for a new RP is always hard, but it seems like the crap you have to wade through just gets deeper over time. I mean, you always had to wade through five or six aweful sites before finding something worth while, but now it seems like you have to get through hundreds of piles of crap to find anything. Anyway, I digress.

but Nanoha doesn't work that way

I am just boggled

BOGGLED

and I hear you RE: playbys.I think it's kinda weird to need a playby for a canon character, much less a model. I guess at least they don't ask outright for you to photoshop hair ribbons on.

Yeah, I'm joining you on not liking PBs (or "picturebitches" as I occasionally call them) either, for similar reasons. If given the choice between taking an image of the actual character from the actual source material, or stealing somebody else's likeness without their knowledge or permission, who happens to vaguely resemble the character in some superficial manner, the fact that a lot of games REQUIRE me to make the latter choice always baffles me ( ... )

I have nothing against PBs so much as the way they're used. But forcing use of PBs ("only models" yet!) for a canon-only game? Fuuuuuck that shit.
